When you use AmoreSong, we collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Email address and name when you create an account or sign in.
- Song creation data: The answers you provide during the song creation process, including names, memories, and relationship details. This information is used solely to generate your personalized song.
- Photos: If you choose to upload a photo, it is stored securely and displayed only on your song's shareable page.
- Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.
- Usage data: Basic analytics such as pages visited and device type to help us improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate your personalized song using AI
- To process your payment and deliver the song
- To provide the shareable song page for you and your recipient
- To send transactional emails (order confirmation, song delivery)
- To improve our service and fix issues
- To respond to support requests
3. AI Processing
Your song creation inputs are sent to AI services (Anthropic's Claude for lyrics, Suno for music generation) to produce your song. These services process your data according to their respective privacy policies. We do not use your personal inputs to train AI models.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. Photos and audio files are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.
5. Sharing & Shareable Song Pages
Each song has a unique shareable URL (e.g., amoresong.com/s/your-song). Anyone with this link can view the song page, which may include:
- The generated song (audio and lyrics)
- The uploaded photo (if provided)
- The recipient's first name
We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Request that we stop processing your data
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Data Retention
We retain your song data and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Song pages remain accessible via their shareable links unless you request deletion. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

AmoreSong is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
